The FIA ETRC championship race in November in Misano has been cancelled due to Covid-19
Misano (Italy) - On Friday 30th October a statement was issued by the European Truck Racing Association (ETRA), the promoter of the European Truck Racing Championship, announcing that in agreement with the FIA and the local organiser of the last race the closing event of this year's season in Misano has been cancelled.
Due to the latest restrictions imposed by the Italian government following the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and travel restrictions throughout Europe, the conditions for the FIA ETRC event in Misano scheduled for 17/18 November 2020 are no longer met. The 2020 championship thus closes with only two races having taken place: the Most stage (held in the Czech Republic) and the stage at the Hungaroring (in Hungary). Steffi Halm is ranked fifth in the final rankings of drivers.
