STANDARD
MOL - Manual Outriggers LockA security system that detects the engagement of the safety latch of the primarily locking pin of side manually extendable outrigger supports, at rest in the transport position. It is completed by a visualizer with visual and acoustic alarm, to install on the dashboard of the vehicle cab.
CPM - Crane Position MonitoringA security system that detects if the lateral extension supports of the outriggers are fully retracted, both for manually and hydraulically extendable outrigger supports. Linked to the height check system of the crane, at rest in the transport position, it is completed by a visualizer with visual and acoustic alarm, to install on the dashboard of the vehicle cab.
MPES - Multi Power Extension SystemA Fassi system that guarantees an exceptional extension/retraction speed of the telescopic booms, built up by a set of equally powerful independent rams, linked in series connection and activated by a single control. Special independent fixing system of the extension rams to guarantee high vertical lifting performances.
UHSS - Ultra High Stregth SteelUltra high strength steel used for the construction of the Fassi structural components, with a high elastic limit, increases structural strength and resistance of the components and at the same time reduces the weight of the crane, to the benefit of the loading capacity of the vehicle which increases.
FWD - Fewer Welds DesignFewer welded joints, the stronger the structure will be. Structural components made out of bended steel with a welded closing plate in lieu of four corners welded structures or monolithic structure likes those for the outer boom and sliding sections with one single welded side: balanced elasticity under load and ideal resistance to fatigue.
CQ - Cast QualityFassi use for more then 35 years cast components with high mechanical characteristics for various important structural components, such as the bottom section (pinion) and the head of the column, the column support, the heads of the ram rods and the cylinder bottoms, the connecting rods and other minor components: less weldings, higher performance to fatigue cycles.
OPTIONAL
With the F30CY, a 3 tm with three hydraulic extensions just 1.6 m wide, Fassi offers the ideal crane for moving and working even in town centres, where access is limited or restricted.
The traffic in town centres or in places where road access is difficult, for example old towns, creates a whole series of problems for those involved in transporting goods and materials. The increase in restricted or low access areas is accompanied by a need to respect precise regulations, set down by local authorities or by the objective limitations of the roads to be used. Then it is necessary to take into account exhaust gas pollution, which is sometimes a determining factor in what is already a complex scenario. This results in the need to work with vehicles that are increasingly lightweight and with restricted dimensions, capable of getting into the narrowest spaces and overcoming the limits traditionally found with industrial vehicles. It is no wonder that the market for “small”, light-weight and low-pollution transport vehicles is both flourishing and full of new proposals, offering solutions with extremely limited working dimensions and eco-sustainable engines. With its F30CY, Fassi is responding to these needs.
Born from the experience in light cranes, the F30CY has been designed with dimensions and characteristics that make it the ideal solution for small transport vehicles, of the type that are able to get into town centres and restricted traffic areas. Here are some figures to give an idea of how the Fassi technicians went about the job: the F30CY is just 164 cm wide, so that it can be fi tted even to the “narrowest” of vehicles. This obviously also has an effect on the weight, turning the scales at just below 400 Kg, definitely much less even than some cranes with a lower lifting capacity. Because it is there that the F30CY makes the difference: in spite of its “slimness” it ensures adequate performance levels in all working conditions. Its working abilities are truly surprising, bearing in mind that the F30CY is able to move around easily and get to any location.
