Fassi co-sponsors the drivers of Team Schwabentruck IVECO in Round 6 of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship in Heusden-Zolder
Heusden-Zolder (Belgium) – On the weekend of 15th and 16th September, Fassi will be co-sponsoring the drivers of Team Schwabentruck IVECO in Round 6 of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship (FIA ETRC). The four championship races will be held at the 4.011 km race track Circuit Zolder, also known as Circuit Terlamen, in Heusden-Zolder in the north-east of Belgium.
Team Schwabentruck IVECO driver and truck racing legend Gerard Körber said of the track: “We are very keen on racing in Zolder, primarily as this is where we took our first podium for Team Schwabentruck, finishing second in 2011, but also it is my personal favourite circuit. No other race track in Europe is so demanding […] you have to drive very carefully, not to make any mistakes.” Fassi wishes the best of luck to Körber and his teammate Steffi Halm. The first championship race will begin on Saturday at 14:00.
