Unloading underground containers is made easier with cranes equipped with a Fassi system that automates movements
Saint-Donat-sur-l’Herbasse (France) – 9th January 2020. A vehicle belonging to the local waste sorting service equipped with compactor and a Fassi F185A.2.23 he-dynamic crane operated in the early hours of the morning, unloading underground containers in the municipality of Saint-Donat-sur-l’Herbasse. The commune belongs to the Drôme department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, located about 90 km west of Grenoble.
The Fassi crane is equipped with a Kinshofer accessory for lifting and unloading waste containers, and is therefore has additional channels for activating the accessory at the tip of the crane. The truck is a Scania P410 tridem, while the compactor is Farid. The crane is equipped with radio control and a system to automate the sequence of movements.
