MB Transports & Manutention S.A. helps to place a 22 m Christmas tree in the Grand Place in Brussels with a Fassi loader crane
Brussels (Belgium) – On 17th November, Fassi Belgium’s customer MB Transports & Manutention S.A. helped to transport, lift and place a 22-m tall spruce tree in Brussels’ Grand Place for Christmas, with the help of the company’s Fassi loader crane mounted on a Volvo FM truck. That same morning, the tree was felled in the sustainable state forest of Hertogenwald, located close to the city of Eupen, and was decorated the following Sunday with LEDs and then officially illuminated on 24th November to celebrate the beginning of the festive season in the European capital.
MB Transports & Manutention, a lifting and transport company based in Thimister-Clermont, is usually tasked with this important duty every year, and always uses Fassi cranes to carry out the work. The crane, with its lifting capacity of 44.14 tm, was very well suited to the task.
