A story 50 years in the making for OMB, Officine Meccaniche Brugnetti. The anniversary of the company in Sorisole, part of the Fassi group, is a source of great satisfaction for the founder, Pierantonio Brugnetti. “I started this activity in 1966, and after the first two years, which is when it really took off, I met with Fassi in 1968. From that moment on, our industrial structure has only continued to strengthen.” Today the company is now being led by the second generation, Brugnetti’s son Stefano Brugnetti.
“We’re trying to invest in automation where possible. For example, the production line for structural joins is driven by an automated portal,” said the managing director, who has held this position since 2012. “We’re also testing remote control of some production processes, to further our use of this technology in the long term.”
