Ålesund (Norway) - April 2016. The company Maritime Partner AS has delivered a multi-purpose vessel to the port authorities of Ålesund (located approximately 400 km north of Bergen). The vessel is equipped to aid the fire brigade in fighting fires and in underwater rescue operations, and also has excellent towing power and impressive loading capacity. Among the equipment installed on board, the Fassi F50AFM crane stands out, with a lifting capacity of 4.59 ton/m and a hydraulic outreach of 6.45 m, fitted with a winch for assisting in underwater rescue operations and in the moving of submarine inspection equipment, as well as the placing and collection of buoys. The Norwegian dealer for Fassi, the Oslo-based company Nord Kran AS, operates not only in the construction and transport sectors, but also in the marine sector, a field in which Fassi cranes can be successfully used.
