Santiago (Chile) – 12th February. The distributor of Fassi cranes in Chile, the company Fassi Chile S.A., is developing customised equipment for specialised vehicles used in the mining sector. For example, it recently carried out work for the Chilean state mining company Codelco, which manages and operates copper deposits in the country, constructing an extremely compact installation on a vehicle dedicated to light logistics inside the mines. This vehicle, which is used for handling small-sized equipment and components, is fitted with a Fassi F50A.0.22 "active" which has a lifting capacity of 4.60 tons/m and an outreach of 6.45 m.
