Fassi cranes take part in this traditional Alpine festival
Aosta (Italy) – As tradition has it, on 30th and 31st January, the town centre of Aosta hosts the Sant'Orso Fair, also known as the "Millenary Fair" due to over a thousand editions. It is, first of all, a people's festival, a time of gathering and an opportunity to relive and rediscover the traditions of Valle d'Aosta. The whole economy of this region participates in this event, which involves hobbyist and professional craftsmen, businesses and producers of the area gathering for two days in the historic centre of the city, the capital of this Italian Alpine region on the border between France and Switzerland.
