FASSI F2350RL-HXP TECHNO allows for a 58% increase in the vertical capacity - Fassi Cranes

The F905R-HXP TECHNO by Fassi marks a new level in quality for the TECHNO range thanks to X-Design, which increases vertical capacity by 58%, and to the advanced FSC TECHNO stability system, an expression of safety and precision. With 9 extensions, an innovative hydraulic jib and integrated management technology, this crane redefines the limits of performance and reliability.

The Fassi TECHNO range continues to grow, welcoming the F905R-HXP TECHNO, a crane that redefines the concept of innovation, value and technology in the lifting sector.

The innovative X-Design system applied to the boom extensions and the outerboom marks a significant step in evolution; with its decagonal section and the use of ultra-high-strength steel, it offers a 58% increase in vertical load capacity. This solution offers an ideal balance of lightness and performance, improving the handling of the crane and optimising lifting operations.

This evolution in structure is accompanied by a 9-extension hydraulic version that, when combined with the L224 hydraulic jib, extends the horizontal range of action to 30 metres, maintaining an excellent load capacity and best-in-class operating precision.

Furthermore, the FSC TECHNO stability system introduces dynamic control and work area management that allows for optimal operations under any conditions. This system guarantees safety, efficiency and versatility, adapting to even complex operating situations.

The range of technology is completed with the FX990 electronic limiter and a completely new management interface, offering personalised control and real-time performance monitoring.

Outerboom and boom extensions: X-Design

The F905R-HXP TECHNO introduces the innovative X-Design decagonal section, which is applied to the boom extensions and the outerboom and - combined with Ultra-High-Strength Steel (UHSS) - allows for a 58% increase in the vertical capacity of the crane.

This configuration represents an evolution of the traditional hexagonal structure. The new decagonal section, which is lighter yet extremely functional, significantly reduces the overall weight of the crane, improving crane handling and optimising lifting operations.

The more extensive support surface guarantees increased structural rigidity, improving overall stability and allowing heavier loads to be handled, even in combination with the jib.

FSC TECHNO

The FSC TECHNO stability system offers an advanced level of control, allowing the operator to adapt the crane configuration to specific operational requirements and conditions. The evolved firmware allows for a higher number of work areas to be managed, and enables dedicated operational areas to be programmed with increased flexibility.

The operator can choose to either use a proportional system, based on the extension of the stabilisers, or activate the inclinometer, thus guaranteeing safe and precise operations in any situation. This combination of personalisation and advanced technology optimises crane performance, always ensuring that operations are carried out with the utmost safety.

New FX990 limiter

The FX990 marks a significant advancement in comparison to its predecessor, the FX900, not only because of its advanced capabilities but also for the central role it plays in a completely new ecosystem. This innovative solution includes a new electronic system, an updated version of Fassilim, the FX991 touchscreen display, a new radio control unit interface and an IoC (Internet of Cranes) system that is further optimised.

This electronic limiter has been designed to guarantee precise and personalised control of lifting operations, allowing the operator to set up specific work areas and optimise every movement of the crane. The result is a system that reduces risk to a minimum while at the same time maximising operational efficiency.

Integrated with the new FX991 touchscreen display, the FX990 offers an intuitive and easy-to-use interface that allows the operator to monitor crane performance in real time. This advanced technology allows rapid and timely intervention, guaranteeing safety and reliability in all operating conditions.

Permanent pulleys

The F905R-HXP TECHNO introduces an advanced solution for operation with the L43 and L62 hydraulic jibs; the permanent-pulley system, an innovation that has already been used successfully with the F1250R and that has now been further improved to offer even faster and more efficient operations. Thanks to an optimised return system, the pulleys allow the cable to be constantly armed, eliminating the need to dismantle or reassemble the cable tensioner.

This allows the crane to rapidly switch from transport (closed) to operative (open) configuration, drastically reducing set-up times.

L224 hydraulic jib

When operations require ample extension without sacrificing load capacity, the new L224 hydraulic jib comes into play. This jib offers improved performance and increased versatility, rendering the F905R-HXP an ideal crane for complex and wide-ranging operations.

With a horizontal extension of 30 metres in the 9-boom-extension configuration, the L224 maintains an impressive load capacity: 3400 kg maximum capacity, 750 kg at the fourth extension and 1000 kg vertically. In addition, this is the first crane with the JDP function on a jib of this size, allowing optimised performance and guaranteeing superior control, even in challenging operating conditions.
