This January, Fassi Asia Pacific SDN. BHD. obtained a prestigious form of certification for the construction of truck-mounted cranes from the Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
This achievement marks a significant turning point for the company, which began operations in Malaysia in 2013 with the aim of leading the country’s hydraulic knuckle-boom crane manufacturing industry. Since then, Fassi Asia Pacific has been constantly dedicated to the safety and well-being of workers in the workplace, maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Being the first manufacturer of truck-mounted cranes in Malaysia to receive DOSH certification is a significant form of recognition for Fassi Asia Pacific. This success will not only pave the way for new market opportunities in the domestic sector but will also bolster the company's position as an international brand of recognised value, capable of satisfying the strict requirements for local production in Malaysia.
Furthermore, Michele Dossi, the CEO of Fassi Asia Pacific, underlined the company’s constant commitment to achieving ever higher quality and safety standards, thus demonstrating the ongoing focus of the Malaysian company on innovation and excellence in the truck-mounted crane sector.
It is important to stress that international certifications such as the Malaysian DOSH certification play a fundamental role in guaranteeing the safety of pressurized equipment. While Europe requires PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) certification for equipment with a working pressure of more than 0.5 bar, in Malaysia, DOSH certification is required for pressures of 3000 pounds per inch or higher.
Looking to the future, Fassi Asia Pacific is determined to continue along this path of excellence and innovation, maintaining significant attention to the safety and the well-being of workers.
