World premiere of Fassi at the Swedish 2014 Elmia Lastbil trade fair
Fassi Gru, a world leader in the lifting industry, will be present as usual at the Elmia Lastbil Swedish trade fair dedicated to the industrial vehicle sector scheduled to be held in Jönköping (320 km south west of Stockholm) from 20th to 23rd August. A biennial appointment that was established more than 30 years ago and that on the occasion of the last edition of 2012 attracted nearly 40,000 visitors and 434 exhibitors from all over Europe.The national distributor of the Italian trademark, the company Fassi Sverige AB with its headquarters in Gothenburg, will present at its stand U:550 an important global innovation: the Model F990RA xhe-dynamic of the new crane forming part of the Fassi Gru heavy range.
The first ever preview presentation of the XHE machine followed the recent introduction of the XE cranes, that, with their advanced electronic control, are able to develop a more powerful performance than the traditional category models.
The provision of cranes produced in the XHE configuration comprises design solutions that thanks to the protective “Carbon look” housing make the aesthetics of the machines highly appealing. On the side of the base all the XHE cranes are standard-equipped with the incredible 7-inch colour touch-screen display that with its attractive graphic display enables the clear and rapid checking of countless amounts of information: messages, warnings, percentages or pressures induced by the load in the lifting jacks, oil temperature, etc.
Navigating the menus of this solid 7-inch colour touch-screen display is similar to that of tablets. By simply pressing the icons on the screen, it is possible to consult all the information or to set the parameters, displaying several pieces of information at the same time, in particular when the vehicle stability conditions are being checked, to evaluate all the possible working conditions.
On the XHE models we have developed a new version of the Fassi stability system called FSC/SII, which exploits the improved efficiency of the new angular sensor combined with the moment limiting device.
The F990RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic mode, present at the Fassi Sverige stand at Elmia Lastbil, is in the version with 8 hydraulic extension booms with lifting capacity of 80 t/m and with a maximum hydraulic reach of over 20 m. Combined with the L616 hydraulic extension, the crane has the same lifting capacity but with a hydraulic reach of 32 m which, with the manual extensions, extends to over 37 m.
